IOCL Western Region Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Apply Online for Trade Technician Graduate Posts
Indian Oil Corporation Limited (Marketing Division) Western Region has released notification for engagement of Trade, Technician and Graduate Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961.
Applications are invited for locations in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, UT of Daman and Diu and UT of Dadra and Nagar Haveli.
1. Short Description
IOCL Marketing Division Western Region is engaging Apprentices for 12 months training. Online applications are open from 05 October 2026 to 04 November 2026. Selection will be based on merit of marks in the prescribed qualification. No written test or interview will be conducted.

This is a Skill Building Initiative by Indian Oil Corporation Limited. Vacancies are available in various technical and non-technical disciplines. Number of seats is tentative and may change. Candidates can apply for only one discipline code. Upon completion of apprenticeship, the Corporation has no obligation to offer employment.

4. Qualification Eligibility
Technician Apprentice (Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation/Civil/Electrical and Electronics/Electronics): 3 years regular full time Diploma in relevant Engineering with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD) from recognized Institute/University.
Trade Apprentice (Fitter/Electrician/Electronics Mechanic/Instrument Mechanic/Machinist): Matric with regular full time 2 year ITI in relevant trade recognized by NCVT/SCVT.
Graduate Apprentice: Regular full time Graduate in any discipline (BA/B.Com/B.Sc/BBA) with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).
Trade Apprentice - Data Entry Operator (Fresher): Class 12th (below graduate) with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).
Trade Apprentice - Data Entry Operator (Skill Certificate Holders): Class 12th (below graduate) with Skill Certificate of Domestic Data Entry Operator.
Qualification must be full-time regular course. Part-time/Correspondence/Distance mode is not eligible. For Graduate and Technician: qualification acquired between 01.04.2023 and 30.09.2026. For Trade Apprentices: between 01.04.2022 and 30.09.2026.
5. Age Limit
Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 30.09.2026.
Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST (up to 29 years), 3 years for OBC-NCL (up to 27 years). PwBD candidates get additional relaxation up to 10 years (15 years for SC/ST and 13 years for OBC-NCL).
6. Salary and Facilities
Stipend payable to apprentices per month shall be as prescribed under Apprentices Act, 1961/1973 and Apprentices Rules as amended from time to time.

7. Selection Process
- Candidates must register successfully on NAPS/NATS portal and apply against the notification
- No written test or interview
- Merit list prepared based on percentage of marks secured in the essential prescribed qualification
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification
- Pre-engagement medical fitness test required
- Offer of engagement issued after successful document verification and medical fitness
8. Important Documents
Candidates should keep ready the following documents:
- 10th std / SSLC / Matriculation certificate as proof of Date of Birth
- Latest Caste certificate (if applicable)
- OBC-NCL certificate (not more than 12 months old from 30.09.2026) if applicable
- Certificate from Institute stating regular mode and year of passing
- Semester-wise / Year-wise mark sheets of ITI / HSC / Graduation / Diploma
- Final ITI / HSC / Graduation / Diploma Certificate
- Aadhaar Card, PAN Card
- Copy of first page of Bank passbook of Aadhaar seeded account and cancelled cheque leaf
- Pre-Engagement medical fitness certificate
- Disability Certificate (if applicable)
