Qualification Eligibility
- Candidates must have passed ITI (SCVT / NCVT) from a Government / Non-Government recognised Industrial Training Institute in the relevant trade (Electrician, Fitter or Welder).
- Only ITI pass candidates of the last 5 years are eligible to apply under the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS).
- The candidate should not have been registered earlier for apprenticeship in any establishment.
- The candidate should not have worked in any establishment for one year or more.
- The candidate must be an original resident of Madhya Pradesh. Preference will be given to residents of Mandsaur, Neemuch, Ratlam, Agar and Ujjain districts. After that, remaining vacancies will be filled from other districts.
- A candidate can apply for only one trade.
- Candidates must register on the Apprenticeship India portal before applying.

- The stipend is as per the guidelines issued under the Gazette notification amendment rules 2025 of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India.
- No other allowance or benefit will be given apart from the stipend.
- During the training period, apprentices will get 13 days casual leave, 10 days medical leave and weekly off.
- Accommodation: Apprentices have to arrange their own accommodation. If company quarters are vacant during the training period, housing may be given on available basis on a prescribed charge.
- In case of accident, the Employees Compensation Act 1923 will apply.
- After training, MPPGCL is not bound to give any job or employment. This notification is for apprenticeship training only.
Selection Process
- Received applications will first be screened to check eligibility.
- Selection will be done through a merit list based on the percentage of CGPA (semester average) marks obtained in ITI.
- If marks are equal, the older candidate will be given preference.
- If needed, selection will be made from the waiting list.
- Candidates with higher priority will be considered from Mandsaur, Neemuch, Ratlam, Agar and Ujjain districts. Remaining vacancies will be filled from other districts.
- Reservation for SC / ST / OBC / Divyang will be as per the Apprenticeship Act provisions.
- Offer letters will be sent to shortlisted candidates on their Apprenticeship India portal profile, and all communication will be on the registered email ID. Candidates should check their profile regularly.
- If a selected candidate does not join within the given time, the selection will be cancelled.
- MPPGCL Gandhisagar has the right to cancel the selection of any apprentice for proper reason.

- Disability certificate in the proper format issued by the authorised officer or District Medical Board (for Divyang candidates; reservation is given if disability is 40% or more)
- Accident insurance policy for 1 year (to be given to the office after selection)
- Agreement on stamp paper of Rs. 1,000/- (to be given to the office after selection)
- Character certificate issued by the police station of the residence area (for selected apprentices)
- Category certificate (SC / ST / OBC / EWS) as applicable

How to Apply
- ITI pass candidates can apply online through the official website https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in/ before 15/11/2026, 11:59 PM. Applications received after this time will not be accepted.
- First register as a candidate on the portal: go to Apprentices → Candidate Registration, click on Register and select "Register as Candidate".
- Fill personal details (Aadhaar number, category, name, parent's name, date of birth, gender) and contact details (address, mobile number, email ID and password).
- Enter technical and academic qualification details and upload the certificates.
- Select your trade in the Preference section, upload photo, date of birth proof and scanned signature, and click Continue.
- Preview the details on the last page, edit if needed and click Confirm to complete registration.
- After registration, login to the portal, go to "Establishment Search", select Gandhisagar Jal Vidyut Griha (MPPGCL) Gandhisagar and apply for the vacancies as per your eligibility.
