Physical Research Laboratory (PRL), Department of Space, Government of India, Ahmedabad mein Library Trainee aur Technical Trainee (ITI trades) ke liye walk-in skill test conduct kar raha hai. Total vacancies limited hain.
Library Trainee ke liye Post Graduate degree chahiye aur Technical Trainee ke liye ITI First Class. Skill test 7 October 2026 ko hoga. Stipend Library Trainee ke liye ₹29,000 per month aur Technical Trainee ke liye ₹17,500 per month hai.
Recruitment Overview
Yeh walk-in skill test purely temporary one-year traineeship/apprenticeship programme ke liye hai. Candidates ko permanent absorption ka koi right nahi milega. PRL young, energetic aur dynamic candidates ko invite kar raha hai. Eligible candidates ko Main Gate par report karke registration karwana hoga. Documents scrutiny ke baad hi skill test mein allow kiya jayega.

Qualification Eligibility
Library Trainee:
Post Graduate Degree in Library & Information Science with minimum 60% marks or above. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed the degree through regular mode.
Technical Trainee (Turner / Machinist / Plumber / Carpenter / Electrician):
ITI with First Class in the related trade. 1-2 years of experience is desirable.
Age Limit
Minimum 18 years and maximum 28 years as on 07 October 2026. Age relaxation will be given as per Government of India rules for reserved categories.
Salary and Facilities
Selected candidates will get a consolidated stipend as follows:
- Library Trainee – ₹29,000 per month
- Technical Trainee (all ITI trades) – ₹17,500 per month
Yeh traineeship purely temporary hai aur one year ke liye hai. Candidates ko permanent job ka koi claim nahi milega.
Selection Process
Selection purely walk-in skill test ke through hoga. Pehle documents scrutiny hogi. Eligible candidates ko hi skill test mein allow kiya jayega. Agar skill test same day complete nahi hota to next day bhi appear hona pad sakta hai. PRL ke decision final rahenge.

- Original certificates of date of birth, educational qualification, experience (if any), caste certificate
- Self-attested photocopies of all documents and mark sheets
- Latest passport size colour photograph (to be pasted on application form)
Without proper documents aur application form ke candidates ko reject kar diya jayega.

Date of Walk-in Skill Test: 07 October 2026 (Wednesday)
Reporting & Registration Time: 09:00 AM to 11:30 AM
Venue: Main Gate, Physical Research Laboratory, Navrangpura, Ahmedabad – 380009
Candidates reporting after 11:30 AM will not be allowed to participate.
