The recruitment is being conducted by CSIR-Advanced Materials and Processes Research Institute (AMPRI), Bhopal.

5. Age Limit
The minimum age is 18 years as on the last date of online application submission. The upper age limit for each post, as on the last date of online application submission, is given below.
- Technical Officer: 30 years
- Security Officer: 35 years
- Security Assistant: 28 years
- Technician (1): 28 years
- Multi-Tasking Staff: 25 years
Age Relaxation:
- Age relaxation is given to reserved category candidates as per Government of India rules. SC/ST/OBC candidates applying against Unreserved (UR) posts are not eligible for age relaxation.
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): 10 years relaxation (total 15 years for SC/ST and 13 years for OBC as per rules). This is applicable for Technical Officer, Technician (1) and Multi-Tasking Staff, and not available for Security Officer and Security Assistant.
- Ex-Servicemen: relaxation is applicable for all five posts, as per the conditions given in the notification.
- Departmental (CSIR) / Government / Autonomous Body / PSU employees: 05 years relaxation, applicable for Technical Officer and Technician (1) only.
- Widows, divorced women and judicially separated women: applicable for Technician (1) and Multi-Tasking Staff only, as per the conditions given in the notification.
6. Salary and Facilities
The pay level and approximate total emoluments for each post are given in the table in Section 2. The approximate total emoluments are calculated at the minimum of the Pay Level and include Basic Pay, Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA) and Transport Allowance (TA) in a Class 'Y' city.

7. Selection Process
- Applications are first checked by a Screening Committee on the basis of essential qualification and age limit.
- Technical Officer: Trade Test (qualifying in nature, marks not counted in the final merit list), followed by a Competitive Written Examination with three papers (Paper I, Paper II and Paper III). Paper II and Paper III are checked only for candidates who get the minimum marks in Paper I, and the final merit list is prepared on marks of Paper II and Paper III.
- Technician (1): Same process as Technical Officer. Trade Test (qualifying) followed by a Competitive Written Examination with three papers, and the final merit list is based on Paper II and Paper III.
- Security Officer: Physical Test, followed by a Written Examination with two papers (Paper I and Paper II).
- Security Assistant: Physical and Personality Assessment Test (purely qualifying in nature), followed by a Written Examination / Competitive Written Examination, which is subjective in nature.
- Multi-Tasking Staff: Competitive Written Examination only, with one paper having four parts. The examination is OMR / Computer Based Objective Type (MCQ) and the time allotted is 2 hours.
- The written examination for Technical Officer and Technician (1) is OMR or computer based objective type, with questions in English and Hindi (except English language questions).
- A reserve panel (waiting list) may be prepared on the recommendation of the Selection Committee.
- Candidates must carry a valid admit card along with a photo ID proof (Aadhaar / Voter ID / PAN Card / Passport / Driving Licence) for the examination.
- Candidates will be asked to bring original documents along with self-attested photocopies at an appropriate time.

- Gazette Notification / affidavit in case of change of name or mismatch in name, if applicable
- Copy of judgment / decree and affidavit of non-remarriage for widow, divorced or judicially separated women, if applicable
- No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the employer for candidates working as regular employees in CSIR / Government organisations / Autonomous Bodies / PSUs etc.
- For Ex-Servicemen applying for Security Officer or Security Assistant: discharge / release certificate (or Pension Payment Order) and experience certificate stating rank and duration of experience in the security field. Para-military personnel need a service certificate stating rank and security experience.
- Departmental candidate certificate on employer letterhead, if claiming age relaxation
- Grade to percentage conversion formula from the Board / University, for candidates having CGPA / SGPA grades
- Any other relevant certificate in support of claims made in the application

10. Application fee
- Application fee is ₹500/- for each post code. The fee is non-refundable.
- The fee has to be paid online only through SBI Collect / online payment gateway. Payment by cash, demand draft, postal order or any other mode is not accepted.
- SC / ST / PwBD / Women / Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from the fee on uploading the relevant certificate.
- Applications without the prescribed fee will be rejected.
